Remapping or 'chip tuning' as it is often know is needed to release the true potential of the manufacturers engine. Manufacturers intentionally restrict the output of an engine for many reasons, such as leaving a large margin of error to cater for owners that use sub standard oil or who do not adhere to the service schedule. Other reasons are to drop the vehicle engine into a certain class. Luckily there is a way to release the true potential of your engine and this is done via an ECU Remapping service which is normally carried out via the OBD socket leaving no trace that an ECU Remap has be carried out.

Remapping Turbo Diesels:
Power = Up to a 30% increase in BHP, Torque and increase in mpg on motorway cruising.
All Round = Up to 20% increase in BHP, Torque and increase in MPG.
Economy = Up to 15% increase in BHP, Torque and 5-20% increase in MPG.
Remapping Turbo Petrols:
Power = Up to 25% increase in BHP, Torque and increase in mpg on motorway cruising.
All Round = Up to 15% increase in BHP, Torque and increase in MPG.
Economy = Up to 10% increase in BHP, Torque and up to 10% increase in MPG.
Remapping Petrol and Diesels:
Power = Up to 10% increase in BHP and Torque.
Up to 7.5% on Cars with over 250BHP standard.
At Dash Wizard we currently use the most up to date Ecu Remapping equipment to carry out a Remap. Our equipment means there is no need to removeor solder anythingto the Ecu.
