Recalibration becomes necessary when the instrument dials on your dashboard malfunction. For example, the fuel gauge may show a quarter full after you have filled the vehicle up — or it may stop working altogether.
This can also happen to other gauges and dials. You may also wish to have the odometer changed from mileage display to kilometre display, or vice versa.
