Does the whole Astra K infotainment unit need replacing?
Almost never. The faults on these cars come from the LCD panel and touch digitiser bonded to the front of the Navi 900 unit. We replace that screen assembly only — the radio module behind it, your settings and your presets are untouched, at a fraction of the cost of a dealer replacement unit.
Will the new screen need coding or programming?
No. This is a like-for-like screen replacement, so no coding or programming is required. Everything works exactly as before the moment it is refitted.
How long does mobile fitting take?
Around an hour at your home or workplace. We remove the unit, fit the new bonded LCD and touch assembly, refit it, and fully test the display and touch before we leave.
